NEPALI FETE IN LONDON RICHMOND 2010

I would like to express big thank you on behalf of KSWS UK to all members who participated in Nepali mela in Richmond on 28th of August 2010 despite their heavy work commitment. Just other members let know who may not have aware of reason of organizing this Nepali mela. Main aim of this Napali mela was to allow opportunity to all Nepalese community ethnic groups to perform their Jhanki wearing own traditional attire,introduce identity of own community and show cultural dance.
Big pat on back specially to Purna sunwar (treasurer) who looked after to all members make sure they are fed well and provided drinks to all members carrying from home. Hom sunwar who played cymbal enthusiastically to draw spectators attention toward sunuwar group while performing Jhanki and Badri sunuwar who arranged Dhol and carried Bow and Arrow around shoulders. Lokpriya Sunuwar former Chairman KSWS kathmandu Nepal and present advisor who played great role organising dhol group then he led Dhol group making sure dhol rhythm playing in right way until march pass was completed. Pushpa who introduced sunuwar history and culture in english while sunuwar Jhanki was performing WELDONE Pushpa. Avishek sunuwar and Jenny sunuwar who performed excellent dance wearing sunuwari attire. You can view their dance in you tube as well as other event.
Once again thank you very much for your all your hard work and we are proud of you. As a result of this we have been highlighted and we are praised by other communities. Many thanks..
